Abstract

Objectives: This paper studies the noise effect on the estimation of Fractal Dimension (FD) of gray scale images and finds out which filter is best for estimating FD accurately for noised images. Methods/Statistical Analysis: Noise can lead to inaccurate estimation of FD, for this experimental analysis we have taken various types of noise factors to generate noisy images. The FD of original and noisy images has been estimated by using improved differential box-counting (IDBC) and compared. Further, three standard noise filtering techniques are used to remove the noise, and then it estimate the variation in fractal dimension of the original and de-noised image. Findings: As roughness of image is concerned, it will increase the addition of noise so FD also increased accordingly. In order to accurately estimate the FD of noised images, we have taken various standard filters to remove noise and to finding out which filter is best for estimating FD accurately for noised images. So in this regard, we have taken average FD variation for each image with each filter and found the nontexture images, mean filter has minimum FD variation even if it has a slightly more mean square error than other filters. Application/Improvements: it is easier to estimate the accurate fractal dimension of noisy textured images as compared to non-textured images. Further, other techniques are to be explored for estimating the accurate fractal dimension of noisy images.

Abstract

Objectives: This research study provides an analysis model which is used to analyze the requirements of mobile native apps contextually under any domain. Methods/Statistical Analysis: Based on the background study, the research process have taken three research approaches and also have identified various activities which are performed among a native mobile app user and mobile native apps and formed them into questionnaires which are sent to different mobile native app developers of different software industries. This research process has determined the requirements based on four contexts in mobile domain such as device context, mobility contexts, user context and social contexts. Findings: These activities are mapped into attributes and contexts for modeling the requirements under mobile domain and for developing the sub models of the analysis model. Finally the analysis model is built and composed of four sub models. These sub models are content analysis model, interaction analysis model, functional analysis model and configuration analysis model. Application/Improvements: This research study provides the analysis model where the requirements are analyzed in a mobile native app under any domain such as agriculture, learning or healthcare applications. This analysis model is significant as it determines the contexts and models the contexts which are not specified in any frameworks or process models.

Abstract

Objectives: To compare different e-commerce website with different e-contract parameters which we have defined in MTUECF universal e-contract framework model. Methods/Analysis: We have studied the information provided by the organizations through their website in different information pages like terms and conditions, information related to seller policy, buyer policies, user agreements, privacy policies etc. to the user. We have considered 13 popular websites empirically having its presence in India. We validate the parameters of MTUECF with these websites using statistical t-test. Findings: It was found after the analysis that the Organizations having their International recognition are addressing the basic contract guidelines along with the privacy and security aspects. Out of 13 e-commerce websites only 10 websites pass the acceptance test as per statistical t-test. Applications/Improvements: This study first time demonstrates the application of statistical test for validating the different e-contract parameters of website for its universalness.

Abstract

Objectives: This paper proposed a XML format for different type of stakeholders on top of a three tier architecture and validates the implementation of MTUECF to have a secure electronic contract. Methods/Analysis: Implementation of XML based MTUECF model for e-contract. Findings: The three tier proposed architecture for implementation of MTUECF model is more secure and addressing the basic contract guidelines along with the privacy and security aspects. Applications/ Improvements: The proposed model can be implemented in future by the organisations for a secure e-contract procedure.
